Experienced attacker Lee Tomlin is one of five players set to leave the Poundland Bescot Stadium when his contract expires at the end of June.
Tomlin, who joined the club as a free agent after leaving the Cardiff City in October 2021, had not played a competitive game since late 2020, though he had taken part in various training sessions as he looked to rebuild his fitness.
Securing just six first-team appearances during an injury-hit spell in WS1, Tomlin, who will join Jack Rose, Tom Leak, Zak Mills, and Joe Willis in free agency, will now begin the task of finding another new club as he hopes to continue his already lengthy career.
Beginning his career with youth stints at his hometown club Rushden & Diamonds, his professional breakthrough came with the Diamonds, where he would go on to make 185 first-team appearances, scoring 33 goals.
Lee went on to move to Peterborough United in the summer of 2010 where he went on to make over 156 first-team appearances, scoring 43 goals, before enjoying stints at Middlesbrough, Bournemouth, and Bristol City before joining Cardiff City in July 2017.
33-year-old Tomlin made over fifty first-team appearances during an injury-hit spell in the Welsh capital, and also enjoyed loan spells with Nottingham Forest and the Posh before leaving the Cardiff City Stadium late last year.
