Walsall Head Coach Michael Flynn has spoken ahead of this weekend's League Two meeting with Leyton Orient, and confirmed the injury status of loaned-in Manchester United defender Reece Devine.
20-year-old Devine has made just four first-team appearances since arriving on loan at the Banks's in January after suffering a hamstring injury that saw him return to his parent club for treatment.
The left-sided full-back, who is yet to make an appearance since Flynn took charge, has rejoined the squad for training and hoping to force his way into the matchday squad as soon as possible.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Michael said; "Reece is training, back in full training. The hamstring is something you can’t rush.
"If you rush it, you’ll just end up doing it again because of the explosiveness – especially with the position Reece plays in. So, we’ve got to be extra careful.
"To risk another six to twelve weeks in the case of it happening again, it wouldn’t make sense. We’ve been careful with Reece, but he’s back in full training."
