Arriving at the match on the back of three defeats in as many games, Michael Flynn's side were looking to add to their steadily decreasing advantage over the teams in the relegation zone, and maybe restore some pride in the process.
The first-half was a fairly competitive affair with both sides creating a few chances, however, the biggest moment of the half didn't arrive until stoppage time as Jack Earing grabbed his fourth goal of the season to give his side the lead.
