After suffering two defeats in as many games, Michael Flynn's Saddlers made the trip to Sportland Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they hoped to put the breaks on a potentially extended run of defeats.
After a fairly uneventful first forty-five, the first goal of the game arrived some ten-minutes into the second half as Conor Grant took advantage of some sloppy Saddlers play to put his side into the lead.
Along with the dire performance, the Saddlers also suffered a trio of injuries with Carl Rushworth, who failed to make kick-off, Liam Kinsella and Conor Wilkinson all picking up injuries.
