Walsall have taken Walsall Wood youngster Sam Unitt on trial, with the highly-rated attacking midfielder looking to earn a deal ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
17-year-old Unitt, who has formed part of Harry Harris's first-team since the former Saddler took charge of the Oak Park side in October, has attracted the interest of several clubs with a steady string of performances.
Winning the Wood's Player of the Month award in November, Unitt is expected to link up with the club's development and under-18s sides as he hopes to make the move to the professional ranks.

Good luck to our 17 year old attacking midfielder, Sam Unitt who goes on trial at league 2 @WFCOfficial today. Sam stepped up to first team football when Harry Harris took over in October and has been excellent.
