Walsall's on-loan Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Carl Rushworth has continued his stellar season by being called up for international duty.
Rushworth, who has made some thirty-nine first-team appearances since joining the Saddlers last summer, will miss next weekend's meeting with Salford City as he is among a 23 man squad selected by England Under-21s boss Lee Carsley.
First up for the Under-21s will be the visit of Andorra to AFC Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium on Friday, 25th March, the 2023 UEFA European U21 Championship Qualification Group G match set to get underway at 7.45pm.
The group will then continue their qualifying campaign with a trip to face Albania at the Elbasan Arena on Tuesday, 29th March, with that game also kicking off at 7.45pm.
