Following the news that he'd agreed to join the club as Assistant Head Coach, Wayne Hatswell has spoken to club journalists and welcomed the opportunity to reunite with Michael Flynn.
Hatswell formed part of Flynn's backroom team at Newport County from March 2017 until Flynn left the Rodney Parade outfit in October last year, and is happy to be back alongside the gaffer in his new role at the Banks's.
Speaking via the club's official website, Wayne said; "I’m really excited. It’s been a mad 48 hours because I was in the dugout for Newport on Saturday.

"I’m really pleased and looking forward to working with Michael again. Everyone knows what we did at Newport for a good four years, that was a big draw for me.
"We know how each other work, and he wanted me to come in and that’s what’s happened. I’m really excited to be at Walsall and I look forward to many years to come."
