Walsall Head Coach Matthew Taylor has spoken to the local press and confirmed his desire to add to his squad ahead of Tuesday evening's League Two meeting with Bradford City.
Taylor, who recently saw Ash Taylor and Otis Khan depart for pastures new, will also be without central defender Rollin Menayese after the former Mansfield man was sent off during Saturday's defeat to Exeter City.
Along with Rollin joining Manny Monthé in the sin bin, the Saddlers were also dealt another injury blow as veteran defender Stephen Ward was also forced off against the Grecians, the former Ipswich Town left-back suffering a quad injury.
Taylor had already been searching for new additions but, with so many players set to miss out, has extra reason to get some deals over the line.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Matthew said; "I hope so. I'm an optimist, and I hope so. We're working very, very, very hard.

"There's been lots of phone calls and lots of conversations with lots of people. We're working extremely hard.
"We're well aware in terms of the positions we need to strengthen. We're doing everything we possibly can to try and have some new additions in the group for Tuesday."
