Walsall's on-loan Brighton goalkeeper Carl Rushworth has today put pen-to-paper on a new deal with the Premier League club.
20-year-old Rushworth, who should remain with the Seagulls until at least the summer of 2025, has kept eight clean sheets in twenty-eight first-team appearances since arriving in WS1 last summer and is expected to stay with the Saddlers until the end of the current campaign.
Carl, who has recently been the subject of interest of several clubs including Barcelona, rose through the youth ranks with both Huddersfield Town and AFC Halifax Town before ultimately signing for Brighton in January 2019.

Before arriving at the Bescot, the shot stopper spent the 2019/20 season on loan in the Isthmian League Premier Division with Worthing, making thirty first-team appearances and earning plenty of plaudits along the way.
