Match Stats: Walsall 1 Crawley Town 1

Here are the Match Stats from the Saddlers' League Two meeting with Crawley Town.
Matthew Taylor's Walsall have been in dismal form as of late, losing their last three all-competition outings, including Saturday's disappointing Emirates FA Cup - Second Round exit at the hands of league rivals Swindon Town.

With the team now out of all of both the FA Cup and EFL Trophy, they have the opportunity to concentrate on their league form, and, if recent results are anything to go by, there is plenty of work to be done.

With the match seemingly heading for a draw at the break, the Saddlers burst into life with less than five-minutes of the opening forty-five remaining as Brendan Kiernan grabbed his fourth goal of the season following Emmanuel Osadebe's superb through ball.

Unfortunately for the Saddlers, they couldn't hold onto their lead before the referee blew for half-time, as Tom Nichols, aided by George Francomb, took advantage of some sloppy play to put the game back on level terms.
