Following the news that he'd become the club's latest new arrival, attacker Otis Khan has spoken to club journalists and welcomed the opportunity to join the club.

26-year-old Khan, who has been a free agent after leaving Tranmere Rovers in the summer, admits he is delighted to agree terms on his short-term deal, and is keen to play in front of the faithful.

With the likes of Tyrese Shade, Conor Wilkinson, Jack Earing, Brendan Kiernan, and Kieran Phillips among those vying for an attacking role, Otis will have to be at his best to earn a place in the starting XI.

The former Yeovil Town and Mansfield Town man also revealed that he is looking forward to play for Matthew Taylor, insisting he likes the gaffer's style of play.

Speaking via the club's official website, Otis said; "I am really happy to be here. Walsall is a massive club and this is a great opportunity for me and I can’t wait to get going.

"This is a great club; the fans are great, and I know quite a few of the lads in the changing room, so that always helps.

"The way the manager plays, he showed me a presentation on how he plays, and I went down and did a week of training and I loved everything about it.

"The way he works, the formations, the players, just everything really it was all a great fit."
