Walsall have completed the Transfer Deadline Day signing of Barnsley forward George Miller, who joins the club on a season-long loan.
23-year-old Miller, a product of the Bury academy system, made thirty-two first-team appearances for the Shakers before joining Middlesbrough in the summer of 2017.
After failing to break into the Boro first-team, Miller signed for Barnsley in January 2019 but not before enjoying loan spells with Wrexham, Bury, and Bradford City during his time with the Riverside club.
The striker, who can also operate as a right-winger, has made nine senior appearances for the Tykes, including six during the 2020/21 campaign, and has also made temporary moves to Bradford and Scunthorpe United.
Walsall were said to be among a growing list of clubs keen to land Miller's signature, but were able to get the deal over the line, adding to their admittedly slim attacking options.

Speaking via the club's official website, Head Coach Matthew Taylor welcomed George to the club, he said; "He's a player like a lot of the other players that we've signed this season had considerable other options, but he's chosen to join us, and we're extremely pleased about that.
"He's at a very good age, he's got exceptional experience of league football, and he's desperate to get better.
"He fits our ethos at the football club of developing as a group of people, so we're extremely happy that we've managed to secure his signature for the coming season.
"It's not a secret this season that we've created plenty of chances, so to have another option to add to the forward line is positive for us. It adds competition in that area of the pitch which I think we need."
