Walsall are said to be close to completing the Transfer Deadline Day signing of Barnsley forward, George Miller, with the 23-year-old likely to arrive in WS1 on a season-long loan.
A product of the Bury academy system, George made thirty-two first-team appearances for the Shakers before joining Middlesbrough in the summer of 2017.
After failing to break into the Boro first-team, Miller signed for Barnsley in January 2019 but not before enjoying loan spells with Wrexham, Bury, and Bradford City during his time with the Riverside club.
The striker, who can also operate as a right-winger, has made nine senior appearances for the Tykes, including six during the 2020/21 campaign, and has also made temporary moves to Bradford and Scunthorpe United.
