Walsall Head Coach Matthew Taylor has spoken ahead of this weekend'd League Two clash between the Saddlers and Stevenage and insisted he is doing all he can in order to add to his squad.
Taylor, who signed twelve players during a summer of change in WS1, is keen to add to his attacking options but admitted he must be patient as the players he is targeting need time to make up their minds, especially with other clubs also looking to recruit.
The Saddlers have started the season in dire form - winning none of their five all-competition outings - and Taylor is desperate to add more goals to his team, with the Transfer Window closing on Tuesday evening.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Taylor, who was asked whether he was close to securing a new signing, admitted he was playing the waiting game as his targets decide what their next move is, he said; "You would have to ask the players we are after.

"What I will say is we are doing everything we possibly can to secure the players we want. But the players we want have other options as well.
"Sometimes you have to wait but what I won’t do is panic. The group of players we have at the moment, in my opinion, are more than capable of achieving what we want.
"But we are hopeful that in five days time, we will have added to the squad."
