Managed by Miguel Llera, the young Saddlers have enjoyed a busy pre-season schedule as they continue to prepare for their 2021/22 EFL Youth Alliance - North West campaign.
The young Saddlers, who have already faced Rushall Olympic, Leamington, Belper Town, and Northampton Town U18s so far this pre-season, endured a difficult evening at the Scholars Ground as their hosts displayed plenty of attacking desire to run out comfortable winners.
First-half goals from Reggie Smith, who grabbed a brace after being unlucky not to open the scoring early in the half, and Jack Langston saw the Scholars take a three goal lead into half-time.
The scoring didn't end there either as Liam Kirton added a fourth goal just a few minutes into the second forty-five as his effort deflected off a defender and into the back of Walsall 'keeper Tommy Jackson's net.

Chasetown's fifth came via the penalty spot, as second-half substitute Harry Crook was felled inside the area. He was able to get back to his feet and went on to smash the ball past the 'keeper to extend the Scholars' lead.
Buoyed by his spot-kick, Crook went on to grab his second and Chasetown's sixth as the young Saddlers' evening showed few signs of improving as their experienced opponents put them to the sword. Crook, again, blasting the ball home.
There were no further goals as the home side settled for six in what was a tough evening for Miguel Llera and his young charges.
