According to sources close to the club, League One outfit Milton Keynes Dons have agreed a Deadline Day deal for the permanent signing of Walsall defender Zak Jules.
The 23-year-old left-sided centre-back is set to be out of contract in the summer and it is understood that a deal has been struck which will see the former Scotland Under-21 international link up with the Stadium:MK side immediately.
Jules, who joined the Saddlers from Macclesfield Town July 2019, has made twenty first-team appearances so far this season, and is a fixture among the backline - entering a series of strong performances - especially in the left-back position.
MK Dons were recently named alongside the likes of Cardiff City, Huddersfield Town, Birmingham City, Blackburn Rovers, Portsmouth, and Peterborough United with all said to be preparing to make a move, however, it appears the Dons have got their man.
