As the manager and his squad continue to prepare for this weekend's League Two clash with Oldham Athletic, Walsall FC have secured their first signing of the January Transfer Window.

Wright has played 11 times in Premier League 2 for Aston Villa’s Under 23s this season, scoring twice against Crystal Palace and Leeds United.
He also featured in all three group games in this season’s Papa John’s Trophy for the Villains and registered an assist in a 3-1 defeat to Carlisle United.
The teenager also has nine caps and five goals for Republic of Ireland Under 19s.
Speaking via the club's official website, Walsall boss Darrell Clarke is delighted to add an exciting young player to his squad, he said; "Tyreik is going to give us great options out wide.
"He’s got great ability with the ball at his feet and he has the potential to be a real threat in the final third.
"He’s been showing his match winning qualities in the under 23’s at Villa and for his country at youth level so we are really looking forward to working with him.
"We’ve got a great relationship with Aston Villa and we’re very grateful to them for letting us have one of their exciting youngsters."
The transfer is subject to EFL, Premier League and FA clearance. Wright will wear the number 27 shirt.
