Clarke, who watched as the Saddlers snatched a point via Josh Gordon's injury-time penalty, admitted he was frustrated as his side once again failed to make more of their goal-scoring opportunities.
After playing out a goalless first forty-five the Saddlers ell behind five minutes into the second-half as former loanee Aramide Oteh slotted the ball past Jack Rose - the stopper gifting Stevenage the opener after felling Tom Pett inside the area.
Thankfully for the Saddlers, and despite a dismal second-half display, they were able to secure a share of the spoils as the returning Josh Gordon netted his third goal of the season after coming off the bench with his side a goal down.
