Walsall Reserves are set to be back in action this afternoon as they continue their Central League campaign with an awayday trip to Grimsby Town.
Heading into the match on the back of last week's four-nil hammering at the hands of Salford City, the Saddlers will be looking to secure their first win of the campaign.
After opening their season with a narrow 3-2 defeat to Huddersfield Town, a young Saddlers line-up was comfortably dispatched by Salford at Ray Hall Lane last week giving them plenty to play for later today.
Opponents Grimsby were meant to open their campaign with a clash against Salford City in late September but saw that match postponed, meaning they will play their first Central League game of the season this afternoon.
Today's match is scheduled to kick-off at 2.00pm and we'll bring you news of the clash shortly after full-time.
