Heading into the match on the back of their first defeat of the campaign, a two-nil loss at the hands of Cambridge United, the Saddlers were looking to return to winning ways as they visited Field Mill to take on Mansfield Town.
The Saddlers started the game well and saw a couple of chances go begging before their hosts ultimately took the lead twelve minutes from half-time as Nicky Maynard grabbed his first goal of the 2020/21 campaign.
The second-half got underway in some style for the Saddlers as Elijah Adebayo, who was having another fine performance, netted his fourth of the season, just four minutes into the half, to put Walsall back on level terms.
