Walsall manager Darrell Clarke has spoke of his pride as everyone at the club has pulled together during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Clarke, his staff and players have all been part of various efforts to ensure the club survives the crisis and the Mansfield-born gaffer believes their togetherness will help the club to stay alive.
The Saddlers finished in mid-table at the end of the curtailed 2019/20 campaign and have enjoyed a strong start to 2020/21, where they are yet to taste defeat in League Two
Speaking via the Express & Star ahead of this weekend's clash with Exeter City, Darrell said; "I’m really pleased and proud of everyone at the football club.
"We’re all trying to help to secure Walsall Football Club. We’re all doing our bit and I’m sure that will be very much appreciated by supporters because they’re more than doing their bit.
"The support we’ve had from them has been outstanding. It’s right that us as a football club, we all do our bit with a real good togetherness.
"I know the chairman is very pleased with that and we have to keep doing that to make sure that the football club is still standing after this awful period. You do that by coming together."
