Last week’s disappointing news that supporters will not be able to return to the Banks’s Stadium from 1st October as initially planned came as a financial blow to Walsall Football Club..
They would ask wherever possible that season ticket holders to keep their season ticket money in the Club. However, they also recognise the need to give choice to our valued supporters.
Whilst the club are playing behind closed doors, and season-ticket holders are unable to attend, there are three options available. These are:
OPTION 1:
This is for anyone who chooses to keep their season ticket money in the Club (i.e. effectively donate their season ticket money to the Club) will receive the following package:
A free iFollow code to watch every home league game of the 2020-2021 Season;
A free digital programme in respect of every match; and
They will have their name added to the design of a commemorative third kit next season to recognise such a fantastic gesture.
They will have their name added to a commemorative plaque that will be placed in the Community Hub recognising the fantastic gesture.
OPTION 2:
This is for supporters who wish to claim a pro-rata cash refund/compensation package as follows:
A free iFollow code to watch every home league game of the 2020-2021 Season;
A free digital programme in respect of every match; and
A pro-rata cash refund to recognise the fact that iFollow is not a like-for-like replacement for physically watching the match at the Banks’s Stadium.
Adults will receive £4 per match, Senior Citizens £3 per match and Young Adults (U21) £2 per match. Saddlers’ Crew will receive their £3 ‘cash back’ as normal.
By way of example, on average an Adult who purchased a Season Ticket has paid £13.45 per match. The compensation package will have a face value of £16.00, being £10.00 for the iFollow Pass, £2.00 for the digital programme and the £4.00 cash refund.

OPTION 3:
This is for supporters who wish to claim a full refund on their season ticket. Please contact the Ticket Office and they will facilitate the refund in due course.
In the event of a full refund should supporters wish to watch the Saddlers this season they will have the option to purchase a video match pass on a game-by-game basis for £10 per match.
Saddlers Chairman, Leigh Pomlett, is urging fans to take up the first option in order to help the club through this difficult period.
Speaking via the club's official website, Leigh said; "I hope the compensation package we have put together will encourage season ticket holders to keep their money in the club.
"Whilst we appreciate this period has been very difficult for many families, we hope the incentive of having your name featured on our third kit next season will offer you value for money alongside the iFollow service and free digital programme.
"The response since I addressed fans last week has been fantastic and I can’t thank you enough for your support and understanding."
The club would be grateful if season ticketholders could let them know of their intentions by 31st October 2020. The Ticket Office will be contacting season-ticket holders shortly via email.
