Several Sky Bet Championship clubs are being linked with a summer move for Walsall's Josh Gordon, with the versatile attacker entering the final year of his current contract.
Gordon, who joined the Saddlers in the summer of 2018 after failing to make a breakthrough at Leicester City, has firmly established himslef in Darrell Clarke's attacking line - netting twelve goals during the curtailed 2019/20 campaign.
The 25-year-old began his career in non-league playing for the likes of Newcastle Town and Stafford Rangers before earning a move to the Foxes and despite several encouraging displays for the development side was forced to leave the East Midlands in search of first-team football.
It is now understood that, after establishing himself in the Saddlers side and proving he is capable of netting on a regular basis, Gordon has done enough to attract the attention of several second-tier teams with a valuation of £250,000 being touted in the media.
With the Daily Mail suggesting clubs such as Barnsley, Millwall and Preston North End are chasing his signature, it remains to be seen if Josh would be keen to make a move or is happy to continue to play regular first-team football in Darrell Clarke's upward looking team.
