It has been confirmed that Darrell Clarke's Saddlers will be in action on Saturday afternoon as they face last season's Sky Bet League Two runners up Crewe Alexandra in a pre-season friendly.
The Saddlers, who have already seen Bristol City pair George Nurse and Rory Holden arrive on loan and permanent deals respectively, will be keen to get as many minutes under their belts as they continue to prepare for the 2020/21 campaign.
The Alex, who finished behind champions Swindon Town at the end of the curtailed 2019/20 campaign, have already taken part in a few friendlies and will no doubt provide the Saddlers with a tough test as they are further down the road when it comes to pre-season preparations.
