Highly-rated striker Candlin, a product of the Saddlers' Academy system who was released following the curtailment of the 2019/20 campaign, has swiftly secured a new club as he now turns his attention to 2020/21 and making his way back to the professional ranks.
Being unveiled alongside fellow new recruits alongside Joe Kenton and Tom Carr, Mitch will be hoping to make a mark for his hometown side as he looks to get his promising career back on track after failing to make the breakthrough to the Saddlers' starting XI.
Despite his lack of first-team opportunities in a Walsall shirt, 20-year-old Candlin, who had been on the radar of several high-profile clubs during his time in Walsall's Academy, did enjoy loan spells with the likes of Blackburn Rovers, Nuneaton Borough and Alvechurch.
We would like to wish Mitch well as he begins a new stage in his career and hope to see him back at Banks's Stadium in the furutre.
