Whittaker, a Saddlers Season Ticket holder for more than forty years, was appointed into the role late last year and is available for supporters to contact with any issues as his key focus is to build a strong relationship between the club and the fans.
Speaking via the club's official website, Graham said; The last ten weeks have been unusual to say the least.
Many of us have lost family and friends and we should never forget that football is only a game. Having said that I think Walsall Football Club can be proud of the way it has handled itself.
The supporters have rallied around with some fantastic community efforts and showed Walsall supporters do care. I am sure that this will continue and we will continue as the community club we all love.
The Supporters have implemented some fantastic fundraising ideas including the ISSA draw for the Bescot Bar and the Walsall Supporters Trust running the 50/50 draw.
The communications team have done their own fundraiser for Acorns Hospice and the Community Hub. The Walsall Football Club Community Programme have held fundraisers and have continued their great work in the community.
Supporters have allowed the club to keep their season ticket refunds and made an amazing effort to buy season tickets for next season.
Why do we do all of these things; because we love our club and care about other people. As the Chairman said “We simply care” and that will help us all improve our club for now and the future.
As supporters we owe a debt of gratitude to the Chairman and his fellow Directors who have worked tirelessly to keep the club going. We are not out of the woods yet but there is a plan for the future and a Board who really care. The communication from the club is second to none and long may it continue.
As Supporter Liaison Officer I find it incredible the time that the club afford me and how we are all improving as a club who simply care.
As Supporter Liaison Officer I am keen to hear your views on the club and how we can all continue to improve on the incredible efforts to date.
