Managed by supporter Ryan Duckhouse, the cyber Saddlers were able to overcome Rob Turvey's AFC Wimbledon in the opening round of the competition as goals from Wes McDonald and Zak Jules saw victory safely secured.
Duckhouse will now take on Huddersfield town in the second stage of the competition with this, and all Round Two clashes set to take place later this week.
Round One of the competition saw plenty of goals, late winners, and drama in an action-packed opening of the inaugural EFL Football Manager Cup.
The tournament, which is being held in partnership with the EFL and their charity partner, Mind kicked off on Monday with the last of the first round games completed on Thursday night.
