30-year-old Gaffney has made a total of twenty-five first team appearances since joining the club earlier in the season - netting one goal - and has not featured since the EFL Trophy defeat to Portsmouth in early January.
In a statement, released via the club's official website, they confirm; Walsall Football Club can confirm that Rory Gaffney has been recalled from his season-long loan with immediate effect.

Salford City have since taken to social media and confirmed Rory's departure with the Manchester-based side wishing him well as he prepares to complete his move to Shamrock Rovers.
