Liam Kinsella: "We Need to Play With Confidence"

Walsall midfielder Liam Kinsella has spoken ahead of this weekend's League Two clash with Forest Green Rovers and insisted he feels confidence is key if the Saddlers are to get back to winning ways.
The Saddlers head into their clash with the Green having suffered three consecutive defeats with Carlisle United, Morecambe and Crewe Alexandra all taking maximum points from their recent meetings with the Saddlers.

Colchester-born Kinsella, who has made thirty-five first-team appearances so far this season, is keen for the Saddlers to put their recent run behind them and to play with out fear.

Speaking via the club's official website, Liam said; "We need to play with confidence, we can't play thinking about defeats. We need to go into the next game, forget about the games before, and play with confidence with nothing to fear.

"It doesn't matter where we play, home or away, we just need to be confident. Confidence is key."

The Saddlers have been able to bounce back from poor runs of form already this season 23-year-old Kinsella wants his teammates to draw upon that experience and return to winning ways this weekend.

Liam continued; "You have to learn, it's such a quick season. We learnt from the tricky period where we lost six on the bounce and we need to take that into the next game and make sure we don't lose.

"Put the performance in and see what happens - you can't promise results but the performance needs to be there for ninety minutes."
