Darrell Clarke has opted to loan out young defender Tom Leak and experienced midfielder Gary Liddle as they get some much-needed first-team football.
Tom Leak's loan to BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South side Salisbury continues and he once again retained his place in the starting XI as his temporary team took on Swindon Supermarine at the Raymons McEnhill Stadium.
Sadly Tom was unable to preside over a win or a clean sheet as goals from Brad Hooper (50') and Harry Williams (55') saw the visiting Supermarine secure three points, keeping them in touching distance of league leaders Chesham United.
Gary Liddle continued his spell of starts as Dave Challinor's Hartlepool United made the lengthy trip to the Huish Park where they faced Yeovil Town in their latest Vanarama National League outing of the season.
Following on from last weekend's one-all draw with Dover Athletic the Pools were again frustrated as, despite netting twice, they had to settle for a point with the Glovers also grabbing two goals.
Yeovil took the lead via Matthew Worthington (24') but were soon pegged back as Peter Kioso (28') crashed home with a superb bullet header.
The home side went back into the lead via Charlie Lee four minutes before the break but were again pegged back as former Walsall midfielder Nicky Featherstone found Gus Mafuta in space with eighteen minutes of normal time remaining.
Pools boss Challinor was left frustrated as his side created but failed to put away a trio of goal-scoring chances as the match headed towards full-time, both sides ultimately having to settle for a point.
