Centre-back Scarr bagged the Saddlers' winning goal as they rebound for going two goals down within the opening ten minutes to take the win and advance to Round Three where they will face Portsmouth.
But 24-year-old Scarr, a former Stourbridge defender who earned a move to Birmingham CIty a few years ago, has already turned his attention to Saturday’s trip to Staffordshire where he is aiming to build momentum with plenty of tough games still to come.
Speaking via the club's official website, Dan said; "A win in football is only good if you can carry it forward into the next game and build the momentum. We need to start having good little runs now in the league so that we can push on and get some points on the board.
"Coming from behind against a good Chelsea side is good for us and hopefully we can now take this confidence into Saturday’s game against Port Vale and replicate what we did in the second half."
Scarr, who has made twenty-three first-team appearances so far this season, believes the Saddlers are more than capable of causing any team in the division problems if they play on the front foot like they did in the second-half of their Trophy triumph over Chelsea.
Dan continued; "If we start the game against Port Vale like we did in the second half against Chelsea, then I don’t think many teams will be able to live with us.
"If you look at games like the Forest Green Rovers league match earlier in the season where we took our game to them, pressed them high up and got in their faces, I don’t think many teams are able to live with that."
