As has been the case several times so far this season, the Saddlers were unable to make the most of several clear-cut chances and should have been comfortably in the lead by the time referee Ben Toner called for half-time.
However, in what turned out to be an eventful second forty-five, the visitors took the lead via Nathan Thomas before second-half substitute Elijah Adebayo equalised shortly after taking to the field in place of Caolan Lavery.
Sadly for the Saddlers they were unable to build upon their leveller as just minutes after Elijah's strike captain James Clarke was shown a straight red card for pulling back Harry McKirdy as the forward raced through on goal.
The red card forced the Saddlers into a defensive change and they looked to have secured a point before McKirdy was able to loop a header Liam Roberts in the final minute of injury time to snatch the win for the visiting side.
Clarke, who is often not backwards in coming forward, was visibly annoyed as he went on to admit the he will be looking to add numbers to his squad during the upcoming Transfer Window and hopes to rid his team of the so-called 'weak minded' players.
Speaking to the assembled media, Darrell said; "I’m angry. I’m very angry to be honest with you. I need to calm down a little bit. But mentality there at the end for me, there’s too many weak-minded players on the pitch to see a game through.
"I’ll weed them out, we’ll weed them out. I don’t give a monkeys about two defeats in eleven, I really couldn’t care less. I look at mentality and for some of them it’s weak. I hate weak players.
"They’ll be moved on and we’ll get one or two in, doing it the right way. People might think I’m being a bit harsh and critical of the team, but I don’t care. Should we have won the game again? Yes.
"In my opinion we’ve had plenty of chances to win the game, we should win the game. That’s the biggest disappointment for me, the last two minutes. The goal is shocking, an absolutely shocking goal.
"That comes down to mentality and backing off, Yeah we’re down to 10 men but we have to be brave and make good decisions. It’s a mentality thing with some of them. If you go out there you’ve got Sadler, Guthrie and Gordon - three strong-minded players.
"But that’s it, the rest of them are in development really for me. There’s probably too many development players on there at the end. We’ll go again in three days, but we’re disappointed."
