Walsall FC had already confirmed that a bid from an unnamed team had been accepted, and that announcement soon drew speculating regarding Morgan's potential location.
Walsall FC can today confirm that striker Morgan Ferrier has joined League One side Tranmere Rovers for an undisclosed fee.

Plaistow-born Ferrier joined the Saddlers from National League outfit Boreham Wood last summer and netted six goals in thirty-nine appearances during his debut season in the Black Country.
He was the subject of a transfer bid from Southend United during the January Transfer Window but rejected the Shrimpers' advances with a view to earning more game time with the Saddlers.
However, following Morgan and George Dobson's recent requests to leave the club, the striker has now returned to the third tier of English football with Tranmere coming to terms on a deal.
