Tranmere Rovers Believed to Be in For Walsall Striker Morgan Ferrier

According to the latest media reports, League One Tranmere Rovers are the club which has had a bid accepted for want-away Walsall striker Morgan Ferrier, with the North West side now able to discuss personal terms with the player.
Express & Star reporter Joseph Masi recently confirmed the news via his official Twitter feed and the Saddlers are already believed to be looking at new additions with first-team manager Darrell Clarke seeking to add at least two strikers before Transfer Deadline Day.

Walsall FC had already confirmed that a bid had been accepted for Ferrier with the 24-year-old edging closer to leaving the club after he recently expressed a desire to leave following last season's relegation to League Two.

Plaistow-born Ferrier, who joined the club from National League outfit Boreham Wood last summer, netted six goals in thirty-nine appearances during his debut season in the Black Country.

He was the subject of a transfer bid from Southend United during the January Transfer Window but rejected the Shrimpers' advances with a view to earning more game time with the Saddlers.

It now appears that Morgan will be leaving the club in the not-too-distant future as he looks to return to the third tier of English football in time for the season opening-games on Saturday afternoon.
