Odra Opole, known as the ‘Blues-Reds’, finished twelfth out of eighteen in I Liga last season, three points clear of the relegation zone.
First founded in 1945, the club has played under various names and spent 22 seasons at Polish football’s highest level, winning the Polish League Cup in 1977. They re-established in 2009 and play their home games at the 3,300-capacity Odra Stadium.
The club has also confirmed the twenty-two-man squad which made its way to Poland on Sunday. Including established first-teamers Liam Roberts and Liam Kinsella, the group features all the gaffer's recent signings and one trialists, believed to be Bristol City man Rory Holden.
