The 21-year-old was among the Walsall team which travelled to Poland for our pre-season training camp, and becomes manager Darrell Clarke’s 12th summer recruit.
The Northern Irishman started his career with hometown club Derry City before moving to Ashton Gate in August 2017. He enjoyed a loan spell with Barrow and played six League One matches on loan at Rochdale last season.
Walsall manager Darrell Clarke spoke to club journalists and welcomed Rory to the club, he said; "Rory is a left-footed wide player and that’s his best position in a 4-3-3, coming inside onto his left foot.
"We’ve worked with him now for a couple of weeks and had a good look at him. His attitude has been spot on and he came on the Poland trip and played very well in the game out there.
"I know Lee Johnson has spoken highly of him and he gives me different options for a different formation."
