With the 2019/20 league campaign kicking-off in just over a month the majority of clubs have started to assemble their squads with hundreds of players vying for a fairly small number of spaces.
Two players who are no-longer on the free market are former Walsall winger Kieron Morris and ex-Aston Villa prospect Corey Blackett-Taylor who have both penned deals with last season's League Two Play-Off Final winners Tranmere Rovers.
Morris, who was named among a long list of players to depart Banks's Stadium at the end of last season, enjoyed a sucessful loan spell with the Prenton Park side last season and clearly did enough to earn a permanent deal as he begins a new chapter of his career.
Blackett-Taylor, who has penned a two-year deal with Rovers, made five first-team appearances for the Saddlers last season and was among those to be released by Aston Villa as manager Dean Smith continues to build his squad ahead of their upcoming Premier League campaign.
We would like to wish both Kieron and Corey all the best as they begin life in the North West.
