News in Brief: Joe Edwards Joins Plymouth Argyle

Former Walsall midfielder Joe Edwards has agreed to join the Saddlers' League Two rivals Plymouth Argyle following the expiration of his contract on Sunday, 30th June.
28-year-old Edwards joined the Saddlers from Colchester United in the summer of 2016 and went on to make over one-hundred first-team appearances, becoming something of a fan favourite for his versatile displays.

Joe Edwards has become the first Argyle signing of the Ryan Lowe era. The former Bristol City and Yeovil Town defender comes to Home Park after three seasons with Walsall.
