London-born Dobson, who has made sixty-five first-team appearances since he returned to the club from Sparta Rotterdam in January 2018, has been the subject of plenty of transfer interest over recent months with clubs from up and down the football pyramid said to be keen toacquire his services.
The 21-year-old midfielder, who is contracted to the Saddlers until the end of June 2021, is said to be attracting interest from Championship clubs including Hull City - the Tigers recently unveiled Grant McCann as their new first-team manager - with the former Arsenal and West Ham United man said to have plenty to offer clubs seeking a player who is both available for the first-team but with plenty of scope for improvement.
The Saddlers, who currently have something of a threadbare squad following a series of exits at the end of the 2018/19 campaign, are known to be keen to retain Dobson's services with manager Darrell Clarke looking to add to his squad rather than see further numbers leave.
