Elijah Adebayo 'Excited to Get Going' as He Becomes Walsall's Fourth Signing of the Summer

Following the news that he'd become Walsall's fourth signing of the summer, former Fulham prospect Elijah Adebayo has spoken to club journalists and welcomed the opportunity to link-up with the Saddlers.
The 21-year-old, who stands at 6'4in tall joins the likes of Stuart Sinclair, James Clarke, and James Hardy in making the Banks's Stadium his home for at least the next season, and is excited to get going at the Saddlers look to rebuild following last season's relegation to League Two.

Elijah is no stranger to the fourth tier of English football having amassed over thirty first-team appearances, during loan spells with the likes of Cheltenham Town, Swindon Town, and Stevenage, and the Brent-born attacker is keen to show the Saddlers faithful what he is capable of.

Speaking via the club's official website, Elijah said; "I am very excited to get going with the club. It’s always a bit different when you are on loan but I can now call this place my home and try to do as much as I can for Walsall.

"The manager has told me to be myself, play with a lot of confidence and belief, and to just try and get as many goals as possible. I am really excited to work with Marcus Stewart and hopefully I can learn a few little tricks off him about finishing and improve my overall game.

"I am a young striker but I want to really kick on now and show people what I am about and what I have already got."
