Loan Watch: Saturday, 27th April

With opportunities to impress becoming something of a premium, a small selection of Walsall's fringe players have gone out on loan in a bid to force their way into the club's first-team plans.
Defenders Dan Vann and Callum Cockerill-Mollett, and strikers Cameron Peters and Dylan Parker are currently plying their trade with local non-league sides as they look to build some much-important match fitness and give the gaffer something to think about.

Dan Vann and Callum Cockerill-Mollett retained their starting spots as Chasetown rounded off their Evo-Stik League Division One West campaign at home to second-placed Radcliffe.

The Scholars, who have enjoyed a strong end to the season, were able to secure a final day victory as goals from Will Whieldon (10') and George Cater (17') saw them secure a two-nil victory at the Scholars Ground.

Dylan Parker was a second-half substitute as Leamington travelled North to Blackwell Meadows and faced Darlington in their final Vanarama National League North game of the season.

The match was a tight affair with each side scoring once to earn a share of the spoils. The Brakes goal, which came shortly after Dylan Parker took to the field, was scored by Colby Bishop, his goal cancelling out Jordan Nicholson's opener.

Cameron Peters was an not named in the matchday squad as Bromsgrove Sporting faced Berkhamstead in their latest Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division Central fixture of the season.

High-scoring Richard Gregory was able to get on the scoresheet once again but it was in vain as the Rouslers' hosts, who went down to ten men early in the second-half, ran out comfortable winners by three-goals-to-one as Max Farrelly (14'), Matt Bateman (22'), and Jonathan Lacey (86') hit the back of the net.

Sporting's season isn't over however as they will now take on Sutton Coldfield Town in the Play-Off Semi Final. Best of luck to Bren Kelly and all at the Victoria Ground.
