Former Players' Day This Weekend!

Saturday's Sky Bet League One clash between Walsall and Oxford United is not only an opportunity to see the current crop of Saddlers in action but, thanks to the Walsall Football Supporters' Trust, it will be an opportunity to see almost thirty players from years gone by.
Organised by Secretary of the Trust, Steve Davies, a plethora of ex-Saddlers from some of the most famous line-ups in club history will be back at Banks’s Stadium tomorrow afternoon as part of the organisations' annual 'Former Players' Day'.

The group of ex-players will be introduced onto the pitch at half-time, while there will also be a series of interviews in both the Bonser Suite and Stadium Suite ahead of kick-off, which is currently scheduled for 3.00pm.

The Trust has confirmed that Stan Bennett, Colin Harrison, Nick Atthey, Ray Wiggin, Trevor Foster, Stuart Rimmer, Mick Evans, Alec Jackson, Alan Roper, Ian Roper, George Andrews, Keith Ball, Jimmy McMorran, Stuart Ryder, Stan Jones, Roy Cross, Kenny Beech, Ron Green, Kenny Mower, Paul Jones, Ned Kelly, Colin Brazier, Ally Brown, Joe Boyden, Mark Taylor, Brian Palgrave, and George Bowerman will all be in attendance so be sure to visit Banks's Stadium and give them all a cheer!
