26-year-old Leahy, who has scored three goals in forty-two appearances so far this season, believes that if the Saddlers will be able to avoid a drop into the fourth-tier if they can keep up their recent level of performance, but are under no illusion as there are plenty of games remaining.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Luke said; "If we play like we have in the last two games then we will be fine. But it’s far too early to suggest the tide has turned. The dressing room is a positive place at the moment.
"Training has been a lot different over the past few weeks. It’s been a lot more enjoyable. Everyone has got a smile on their face and, looking at us, you wouldn’t think we are in the position we are in.
"But we are well aware of our position in the table. Now we have two home games, starting with Fleetwood tomorrow and then Portsmouth on Tuesday. If we win both of those maybe we can then say the tide has turned."
