21-year-old Fitzwater made twenty-five first-team appearances for the Saddlers earier this season before being recalled by his parent club in early January as Baggies boss Darren Moore wanted to take a closer look at his progress.
The young defender was an unused substitute for their Emirates FA Cup ties with Wigan Athletic and Brighton & Hove Albion and recently flew out to Dubai for a warm weather training camp.
Saddlers manager Dean Keates spoke to club journalists and welcomed Jack back to the Banks's, he said; "We are really pleased to have Jack back. We never wanted him to go back to Albion in the first place but fully understood their reasons why.
"He was involved in the FA Cup and we had hoped he would make an immediate return. Albion informed us they were spending a period of time in Dubai for warm weather training and Jack would be part of that group.
"We spoke to Darren and again fully understood their decision. Jack now rejoins the group ahead of the game with Rochdale and will add further competition to the centre-half role, with Jon, Connor and Dan all fighting for a place in the first team.
"We’re grateful that West Brom have allowed Jack to come back and we’re looking forward to having him back in the group."
