Walsall-born Keates, who will be taking charge of his 100th game as a manager - including 71 at Wrexham - is hoping that his side can build upon last weekend's vicotry over Wycombe Wanderers but knows that the Brewers, who are managed by Nigel Clough, will pose a real threat when they visit Banks’s Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Keates, who made over 700 appearances as a player, admitted that he was frustrated to see his side concede two late goals during the win over the Chairboys but insisted tat the result is all that really matters.
Speaking via the club's official website - Saddlers.co.uk - Dean said; "It was pleasing that we took our chances against Wycombe. We could have taken more but I am disappointed that we conceded two. It was about winning the football match after the two previous results and we got the three points that we wanted.
"We were disappointed with the two defeats away from home at Luton and Southend. We managed to get the three points and now we are looking to build on it. It will be a difficult game for us, but all games in this division will be difficult.
"We have to make sure that we turn up. When we do turn up, we are always a difficult game for the opposition. We will make sure that we are right on our side but they have had a decent result this week in the cup against Nottingham Forest so they will be in a good place as well.
"It was a great result for them against Forest but we will make sure we go about our performance in the right way."
