Wilson, who joined the club alongside Baggies colleague Jack Fitzwater on Transfer Deadline Day, believes that the strong start to the season has allowed the team to dream, with their original target of securing safety looking to be far more achievable than the bookies predicted during the build up to the campaign.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Kane said; "The start we have made has been quality. When I first arrived the lads were like ‘Let’s try and get to mid-table and see where it goes.'
"But we’ve come out the traps flying. We have won most of our games, only losing two and all the lads are really positive, everyone is dreaming a bit now. I’m definitely a dreamer because there is no negativity here.
"We all know that we have to work for each other. The mentality we have will hopefully keep us up there."
