Jordon Sangha Joins Ashton United on Loan Until January

Walsall midfielder Jordon Sangha has today joined Vanarama National League North side Ashton United on loan until January.
The 20-year-old, who has been at the club for over a decade, has found his first-team opportunities limited so far this season and will no-doubt welcome the opportunity to prove himself in a matchday squad.

West Bromwich-born Sangha has been on Walsall's books since the age of eight, and has played at every youth age level, from the Under-9s through to the Under-16s, and was named Apprentice of the Season in 2015/16.

Jordon, who rose through the ranks at Banks's Stadium to sign pro terms in February 2016, previously had loan spells at AFC Telford United and Leamington, joins United with immediate effect and will be available for Saturday's match against Hereford United.

Sangha, speaking via the club's official website - Saddlers.co.uk - welcomed the chance to get out and play, he said; "I just wanted to get some minutes. Walsall got in touch with their gaffer and got my name out there and they said they would have a look at me.

"I went to training and they said they would have me. I just want to play football. Their gaffer has said that I will play for them and that is all Dean Keates wants - for me to get games and hopefully it will be good for me.

"If you look at the likes of George Dobson, Jack Fitzwater and Connor Ronan, they are all playing first-team football and that is the aspiration for me."
