Dean Keates Insists Saturday's Teammate Tussle is 'Done and Dusted'

Walsall manager Dean Keates has spoken to the press following Saturday's disappointing League One defeat to Doncaster Rovers, which saw the Saddlers suffer theirt first league defeat of the season, and discussed the mid-match clash between Luke Leahy and Morgan Ferrier, insisting that the incident is done and dusted.
Summer signing Ferrier allowed anger and disappointment to get the better of him as, shortly after James Coppinger had put the visitors 3-1 up, he ran the length of the pitch to remonstrate with Leahy, with the pair having to be separated by teammates as tempers flared at the Banks's.

Speaking via the Express & Star, Dean said; "It’s emotions – I’ve had a chat with them in the changing room about it and it’s done and dusted. It’s put to bed, that issue. Ideally, that doesn’t happen on a football pitch.

"I don’t mind seeing it in the changing room but I’m a believer that if it happens, it goes down the plughole with the shampoo come 5pm. It’s passion and they care.

"Some people don’t like having someone else on their back and they are still getting to know each other, it’s still early days for them as a group."
