Dean Keates Looks Ahead to Awayday Clash With Scunthorpe United

Walsall manager Dean Keates has spoken to club journalists ahead of this weekend's League One clash with Scunthorpe United, and insisted the Saddlers will do all they can to earn all three points.
The manager, who saw his side win their opening game of the season as they defeated Plymouth Argyle by two-goals-to-one, is keen for his side to build upon that result and work on any negatives before they take on the Iron this weekend.

Dean, who was speaking via the club's official website  - Saddlers.co.uk - said; "There were a lot of positives to take from the Plymouth game. We have sat down, the lads have seen the clips. We will walk away with the positives but it’s the negatives that we have to work on, even the positives as well because that’s a habit but a good habit to have.

"We are going to go there and give the best account of ourselves possible to try and get three points. We will try and play on the front foot, like we did at the weekend, and all being well we will get three points.

"It will be a tough game, as the Plymouth one was. They will be there or there abouts again this season, as they were last season. We are going to go there, it’s their first home game as well. They had a great result at Coventry and it will be a tough game for us."
