Boreham Wood Chairman Praises Walsall as Morgan Ferrier Signs

Following the news that Walsall had signed Boreham Wood striker Morgan Ferrier on a two-year deal, Wood Chairman Danny Hunter has spoken to club journalists and praised the Saddlers for how they handles themselves during negotiations, before going on to wish the player well as he begins a new chapter of his career.
Mr. Hunter, who recently released a statement criticising both Ferrier and his agent following the collapse of a proposed move to Tranmere Rovers, revealed that the Saddlers made what he believes to be a fair offer before swiftly agreeing terms with the forward.

Speaking via his club's official website - borehamwoodfootballclub.co.uk - Wood Chairman Mr. Hunter said; "Walsall contacted us, conducted themselves wonderfully throughout and made what we consider to be a very fair offer for all concerned. As such, we gave Morgan permission to speak with them and he has quickly agreed personal terms.

"As such, it was an easy decision to allow Morgan to join them with immediate effect and he will be available for them against Plymouth tomorrow. We all wish both Morgan and Walsall the very best of luck in the future and we hope that Morgs is a huge, huge success there."
